![]() Well now the fog has cleared, and we now know that Craig Hopson has stepped in as executive corporate chef for the Chin Chin brand, with Ren Nisenbaum acting as executive chef of BBCM. Taking over the former Cravings space, BBCM was at the center of much speculation after LLC documents pointed to the corporate headquarters of Chin Chin, the longstanding Chinese fusion restaurant across the street. Overall, a bit on the pricey side but I think it's worth it! More.BBCM, short for The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker, has opened its Sunset Boulevard-facing doors in West Hollywood. Famous latte art: Their popular latte art is so darn beautiful but the taste of the coffee is mediocre-nothing special. Tip is to make a reservation if you're planning on going on the weekend. My friend stayed 20 minutes after his time was up and got a parking ticket.Service: All of the staff I've encountered are really nice and friendly except for one and this person happens to always be my server! Haha Atmosphere: It gets CROWDED on Sundays. Plenty of parking if you get there right when they open. Serving size looks small but after the potatoes, you'll fall straight into a food coma. The dish also comes with potatoes that are perfectly seasoned. The bread they use is different than the bread at other places. Hands down the best eggs Benedict I've ever had. What to order: If it's your first time here and you're unsure of what to order, I'd 100% recommend the eggs Benedict (both salmon & pork belly are bomb). Lots of good chunks of smoked salmon, shrimp, squid, scallop with a very yummy dill sauce. Their seafood omelette on a skillet, was really good, that too. Their side of bacon though soo crispy, I'll reorder those in a heartbeat. With a side of breakfast potatoes, which were decent as well as the poached eggs. However, their avocado toast left much to be desired and in comparison with others, the avocado didn't stand out and the flavor lacked a bit of snap. Their vanilla latte with the signature colorful latte art, impressed, and photogenic. I also had the lemon tart with pistachios from their dessert area, and that one was OK to me. I tried the parmesan leek croissant from their bakery side which tasted really good. It was busy on a weekday brunch, and service is pleasant, though I just wanted a little bit more from some of the food options. The setting is great, especially the yellow booths inside.Īlso free parking in the back, of this plaza. This place is highly appealing, I mean the name alone is awesome. I'll be be back to try again for sure! More. ![]() Overall this is a great new spot and I would high recommend trying out. I wish I would have tried a bit but I was enjoying my dish too much to try hers. It had thick cuts of pork belly which look very yummy to me. I got a salad as my side and it definitely needs it with something as rich and decadent as this main dish.My wife ordered the Cubans with looked very tasty and she enjoyed. The hollandaise sauce was very tasty and the biscuits went very well with everything. It was a little salty but I didn't mind it. I've gotten fried chicken eggs Benedict at several place and have never really been impressed but this place was delicious. He made sure our water was always filled and was very friendly. As far as food goes, I ordered the eggs Benedict with fried chicken and it was excellent. The service was amazing and the gentlemen who looked after the dining area was exceptional. I've only come here once, but had a great experience. ![]() Very excited to try this place as we come to the area to see movies across the way quite often and didn't really like any of the options in the past.
